It had to happen sometime; when I finally revert back into earth-goddess mode and decide to ignore my small, stuffy office to loll around outdoors. I used to work in a greenhouse in high-school as well as participated in FFA. So of course, when I have a multitude of projects to finish, I spend my time elsewhere.
The future (web design related):
- This website will be completed. Someday. I hope. I want to get it to a place where I feel comfortable submitting it to contests like SXSW and top CSS galleries like CSS Remix, so I know I have to get this finished soon.
- Related: I may split this site into two sections; one for design matters and one for gardening matters. The design side will be serious, the gardening side will not. But it’ll give me a change to further work on my design skills outside of work.
- PokerSoup.com is still in the works. Not much I can say other that it’ll be a one-stop poker resource and social networking site, and has the potential to be very, very awesome.
- I will be at The Start Conference tomorrow, at An Event Apart San Francisco in a couple weeks, and have purchased my pass for SXSW for next year.
I will attempt to be more regular with updates as much as I have been tweaking this website, so expect more soon. :)

Bad designer! Bad! Bad!
I know it’s akin to a mortal sin for a designer at SXSW (aka, web conference of webDOOM) to have an incomplete and unusable website. My excuses, as follows:
- My job likes to keep all my waking hours devoted to the company, ergo, the time to build my own website during the last few months has been little to nil.
- ^^ This above excuse could also go under the definition of “Procrastinator and lazy.”
- When I did get the time to build a website, I worked my ass off… then my computer’s harddrive blew up. Lost everything.
- I was designing and coding like mad the last few weeks, then my Mom went into the hospital.
- ^^ Here are the real excuses.
- Business cards never arrived, so I had to spend my last night where I could be fixing the website, working on building those from scratch (and yet I still included the website address).
Trust me, I’m a lot more awesome than I sound here.
Want a better way to get to know me, other than this sad, sad website?
Highly frequented websites
Not as frequented, but if I get a friend I’ll be on it more!
So, I promise the website will be in it’s full glory in a couple weeks, sadly after the debauchery of SXSW is over and done with!
